What parents ask first.

  • What does "Peace Oh My! Certified" actually mean?
    A Certified provider has cleared our full vetting process via Checkr within the last 12 months, completed the Academy curriculum for their role, and has live access to bookings via our matcher. Certification is pulled immediately if any of those lapse.
  • How often are background checks refreshed?
    Annually, no exceptions. Checks run through Checkr (FCRA-compliant). The provider profile shows the most recent refresh date.
  • What happens if a provider's rating drops?
    Any provider whose rolling rating falls below 3.5 is auto-flagged for admin review. New bookings pause while we investigate and either coach, retrain, or off-board.
  • Are providers employees or independent?
    Independent contractors. Peace Oh My! is a marketplace facilitator — we verify credentials but do not employ, train, supervise, or direct anyone. Parents contract directly with providers; payouts and 1099s are handled by Stripe Connect.
